Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 126500 (2023) replaced the ref. 116500 in 2023, bringing with it a brand-new caliber 4131 self-winding mechanical movement and a handful of subtle cosmetic upgrades. The bezel, which is still outfitted with a lustrous ceramic insert, is now trimmed in stainless steel. Additionally, the hour markers are skinnier, and the rings surrounding the chronograph registers are slightly thinner, giving the dial an overall larger appearance. As the second iteration of the stainless steel and ceramic bezel Daytona, this ref. 126500 holds a very special place in Rolex history. It is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after models in the Rolex catalog, and we have a handsome black dial example for sale today in excellent secondhand condition.
